CRY

I don’t trust the fall

when they look like you

dark hair, brown eyes

hopeful as the night sky

Pull the curtains close

cause I feel so lonely

letting you down

come back around

Don’t wanna be dramatic

but I wish we’d never met

cause wanting you has held me back

from the afterlife

now I don’t wanna die

I wake up to your skies

never want to see you cry

When the fight has gone, I feel so dirty

empty inside, nowhere to hide

Wanna look to you but the damage is done

I got no where to go, I got no where to run

You look at me like a stranger

And I wish we never met

cause wanting you has held me back

from the afterlife

now I don’t wanna die

I wake up to your skies

never want to see you cry

There are no answers, no solution, no reason.

I think there is only water, and water has memory,

water goes back to where it came from.

And if life lived are pieces of life received, then in this world,

I have met you.

And if the time calls for you, I will go back to you one day.

now I'm back the afterlife

now I don’t wanna die

I wake up to your skies

never want to see you, never want to see you

cry

(Don't cry, don't cry, don't cry, don't cry)

I've turned you into music,

in every melody, weaving in and out of lyrics.

Like sheet music I can never read off paper,

but will always hear off your lips.

You fill the quiet in me, just don't stop talking,

and I won't ever stop singing.

I've written you into all my music,

and perhaps you have written me into something I can never bear to leave.
